Because of the public and legal obligations of energy providers, it is especially important for Utilities to implement robust, secure, and effective IT solutions in their legal departments.

Olenick’s Legal experience for Utilities includes:
- Legal Document Management System: rebuilt and upgraded the utility’s document management system for its Legal department. Olenick created a new common library based on newer software, providing major capabilities including MS Outlook integration and e-mail archiving.
- Legal eDiscovery Process Re-Engineering: a strategic assessment/re-engineering of all processes in the utility’s legal department, both technical and human, surrounding the litigation hold and data collection functions in advance of a software upgrade.
- Legal Matter Management System: upgrade of the utility’s system for cataloging all of its legal matters. Olenick provided Project Management services for implementing a new version of the platform, as well as Change Management and Testing. This upgrade resulted in a better version of the platform with increased vendor support.
