Is Olenick & Associates a staffing firm?
No.
We are a diversified practice with a niche focus
on Software Test Engineering and Software Quality
Assurance. We take a strategic approach to working
with our clients and providing them with customized
solutions that solve their problems to improve their
business efficiency. Olenick & Associates' executive team is comprised of senior technologists who understand
Information Technology and ensure the solutions we
propose to clients are the right solutions.

Does Olenick & Associates have a bench policy?
Yes.
We employ both a Bench Manager and a bench strategy
that maximize the output of our on-site lab, our
ability to support employees in the field as well
as improve employee development. Our bench is an
integral part of how we run our business.
3.
How long does a typical project last?
It is hard to say...some
engagements last 3 weeks and some last 5 years. The
best estimate is probably 6-12 months.

Does Olenick & Associates offer employee benefits?
Yes.
We have a comprehensive health and insurance benefit
package which includes paid-time off, disability
insurance, 401(K) retirement plan, and flexible-spending
accounts.

Are all of Olenick & Associates' employees full-time salaried employees?
Yes.
All of our employees are either full-time or part
time non-exempt employees and are either part of
our delivery or services organization or a part of
our general and administrative support staff.

Does Olenick & Associates require its consulting staff to travel?
Sometimes.
Sometimes travel is required at approx 35%, but that
is very typically based on what branch office the
employee belongs too. We do support clients that
have operations across North America, and try to
align resources in the office closest to them to
support our clients. We have a very good track record
of allowing our consulting staff to have a work/life
balance. Travel is usually minimal.
7.
Are employees allowed to have flexible hours when
working on client engagements?
Yes.
If an employee while working onsite with a client
manages to bill his/her expected hours prior to the
end of the week (and the client is amenable), flexible
hours can often be accomodated. Also, Olenick & Associates provides a Surplus Billing Award to all field employees who bill
client hours (Surplus Billing Hours) in excess of
the expected 80 during a pay period.

Does Olenick & Associates offer training?
Yes.
We pride ourselves on being a knowledge-based practice
firm. As such, we offer multiple avenues for employees
to continually improve their skills....from traditional
tuition reimbursement, to company-sponsored certifications
and weekly Knowledge Sessions.
9.
Does Olenick & Associates' work with contractors or is there only full-time opportunities?
No.
We employ full-time employees only. However, we do
have a separate division called O-Solutions that works with 1099s, W2 hourly, and contract-to-hire opportunities. Simply
